I have sold my 30D to my bother-in-law. He is going to have a baby in less than one month and wanted a proper camera. It is his first reflex. He's very happy with it.

Now I have to buy a new one for me, and it's definitely going to be a Canon 5D, specially now with the 200 euro rebate. Very Happy

Finally I will have a big and bright viewfinder for manual focusing!

I could even take batter pictures. Rolling Eyes

Thanks, Orio.

As an expert 5D user, do you know if there is any mirror hitting issues with any lens in my modest lens lineup? (everything is in my signature)

Talking about viewfinders:
- 30D = 95%
- 5D = 96%

Coverage is something that didn't worry me too much. The difference between 95% and 100% is not very significant. I prefer 100% though. Smile

But size does matter, and the 5D viewfinder is big, very big, when compared with the one on the 30D. Twisted Evil

Possibly the Tessar, but I have sold mine so I can not test it.
