I shoot this through my living room balcony window, with the 400D and the Jupiter-37 at full aperture.
The glass window of course has some impact on the quality of the image, but I could not open the window, the birds would have gone away.
Plus it was raining like crazy, you can see the raindrops trails e.g. on lower left of image.
In spite of all the adverse shooting conditions, the detail is still there

In crazy weather and throw window, not bad at all.

I like the bokeh, and enhanced no doubt by the window. Smile Good thing
you didn't open the window, they could've been "snapping turtle doves"
and would bite your fingers! Laughing

I wish we'd get some rain, it is getting very dry and my dogwoods are
blooming....
