all wide open, handheld - have to do it again with tripod, but need time when light is right form windows - this is no place to use flash

Looks like very serious right-handed carpentry? Thanks for a fine series and we look forward to the tripod retakes

Do you have any more shots if your hand planes? Looks like a nice set

These shots and your nick... you did work as a carpenter/joiner, right?

thanks for your comments. Will do my best to give you more insights to my oldi cabinet...sometimes...

The shots were done on Nikon, with very short possible focus distance, now having an additional Pentax body ( a collateral damage to the LBA, i got in here ), will give ma the possibility for another series and other perspectives, if light allows. The windows from both sides give a very typic light, that i cannot get with flash
Carsten: The old workshop was founded in 1904 from my grandfather. I still keep all the old machines, even a handmade press. Sometimes i work with one of these machines, outside the official part of my business - there is no chance to meet actual security needs, like CE or so. In my framing business i use modern machines and have separate rooms one for cutting and one for doing clean work with glass and paper.
