Amazing bokeh! Not really my taste, but if you are looking for this effect, it's fantastic!!
I love Steinheil lenses...

It was "designed" to look like that (see the Cooke Kinic thread) concentrating on the bokeh.
Steinheil lenses are great indeed, it took me a very long time to find one in c-mount (and in that wonderful condition...)

It looks like it covers the frame pretty well too Wink

Steinheil lenses are generally expensive stuff so I guess you had to pay a little fortune for this one in C-mount?

Thanks, yes it was an expensive lens considering.
It has a little bit of vignetting, but hardly noticeable.

Here ya go .... (don't forget, these are lens performance studies, not necessarily made to bring out the best of the subject or scene in target - but it may have happened by coincidence nevertheless Wink )

All shot at f1.5 fully open.

bokeh and overall performance is much more neutral as the "crazy" Kinic IMHO.

You are lucky to still have some flowers around. It's rather few of those in Norway this late in the autumn Wink

Looks like performance and resolvance is decent Very Happy

Bokeh is interesting and looks closer to my Schneider than the adrenaline from Cooke Kinic Wink
