This was up at the abandoned Tungsten Mine in the Pasayten Wilderness in northcentral Washington state. I light-painted the cabin with a headlamp. Nikkor 20mm f3.5, Nikon D600.

Very nice!

One idea. One option would be to adjust white balance a little bit warmer so flashlights light would look more natural in that scene. Just a though.

Wolfhansen , gaeger ,Aanything, nice contributions , seems this is going to be a great images topic ! I mostly like the renaissence-like first pic of Alessandro and the one with stars and cottage of Gil.

Here's one of mine with the Yashica ML28/2,8 on Canon XTi ,before even starting to use the Nex. Set at infinity , and shot handheld , I'm wondering now how did I managed to make it without tripod or image stabiliser. It's cropped a bit if I remember well.
But there was enough light from the sky to go with 1/500 !

Fine image ! Great use of diagonal composition . The light and darkness allways transforms things. Good detail from the Flektogon You even have a moon there ,and just on the superior 1/3 line . If you allow me a suggeastipn , maybe it's a good idea to translate that moon a bit more to the left ,to bring it in a more powerful point ,it's much too periferic .

Trying a bit of comeback on this thread that wasn't too active. This is just in the center of Prato della Valle , one of the most beautiful squares ( no enghish word proper to name it , because it is in fact eliptic ....and huge!...so, the italian piazza is the adequate ) in Europe . In Padova .
Please excuse, it's shot with AF kit 16-50 OSS
