This is the Flektogon at the Local airfield again with the polarizing filter on and again I struggled with the exposure/F stop settings...so there is PP on these.

That PT-17 Stearman is a hunk of plane! Good shots Smile

It looks very good to me.
I suppose the green color cast is from camera WB, isn't it?

The Green colorcast may have come from the polarizing filter and when I adjusted the brightness/Shadows in Windows live gallery.

thanks for the visit, beautiful engines, the polarizing filter seems to kill flektogon colors

At least on my monitor they all look either overexposed or lacking in contrast. Have you skipped post-processing? It should to the trick.

Very good set of pictures. The Flek35 looks like a very nice allrounder.

On engines(aka Fuel-to-noise-converters) like the one from the PT17, i could spend a complete hour shooting details.

Bytheway, thanks for delivering a new number one in my list of most silly looking airplanes. It is now topped by that Transavia Airtruk thing Laughing I wish we had such oddlooking things flying around here.

Love the crop duster; it looks like a flying Isetta.

Looked like a fun time, Moira! Would love to see #8 in the air!

I think I was in show and tell mode for these...no real thought went into details except for the PT and the flying yellow brick.

I did not get any images of them flying but later on in the day I did see the yellow brick flying and it was a noisy little thing.
