Good old Provia, it sure is a consistent film.

After the float plane took off, everything was silent. But then, the sound
of the small creek rolling down the rock steps was a welcoming hiss, with
the little rapids and falls.

The sky had turned gray only a few minutes after arriving, and so the
mood was somber but beautiful. I walked over to this creek and sat on a
rock for a few minutes. It was cold, so went back to my gear that was
piled up on the moraine to put on my down jacket, and grabbed my friend's
camera with permission. I hadn't even unpacked my camera yet. Shocked

The "warm" area in the clouds to the upper right is not an aberration;
it was actually some errant sunshine lighting up the clouds a little.

This is different than the usual sunny and cheerful landscapes that I try to
find, but I felt it transmitted the feeling of isolation that was inherent in this area.

Well, I had never actually seen a Topcon camera before. It is a VERY
robust feeling camera - very heavy. It has an odd mount, perhaps
similar to an Exacta. The lens focus is just wonderful.

My friend has owned this camera for many years, and always uses it
as a backup camera because it never fails. In my opinion, it feels
much like a "Leica-build", because it is so smooth and beautiful.
If we had met a Grizzly Bear, that camera would have been used to
fight it off! Laughing

If I had a lot of money to spare for cameras, this would be a camera that
I would consider, just for its "industrial" beauty.

Mount is same Larry, you can mount Exakta lenses too.

Grey sky may be bad for sky, but it gives incredible shadings to the muted autumn hues of the vegetation and the yellow-browns of the rocks.
Great image as usual!

How beautiful!
I am preparing for 2 weeks in the wilderness, in pursuit of autumn color.
Your photo is very stimulating. We want more!

Nice to have a giant softbox, isn't it?

Recent days I found something about this brand of cameras. They are reportedly special unless collecting.

Love how that water falls. Stilling view.

Very good result Larry. Topcons are underestimated unfortunately and as they share the same mount as Exakta, lots of lenses fit.

Very, very nice as usual, Laurence.

Thanks all! It is heartening to see "old friends" here, as well as
newer forum members.

Since the topic of Topcon cameras and lenses has come up, I've
started a new thread to see what might be owned by any forum
members.
