I have recently been chatting about the Tamrom model 103A 8o-210mm zoom. I Took this with it today. I can't get over the performance of this lens.
The Chaffinch is always ready to pose for a picture.

100% crop

If anybody is looking for a similar relatively unknown and cheap Adaptall that performs well beyond its class try the little f3,5 70-150m zoom

Sharp and crispy. Excellent colour rendition, creamy bokeh. That lens is a gem. I didn't expect for a zoom. I'll search for it on ebay.

Great capture of the bird. Looks like it's about to take off.

Great shot!

Sometime zoom lenses do surprise!

The bokeh isn't that bad either if you consider it has zoom optics.
