Today I visited a Statue Park at Parikkala. The park is a garden filled with hundreds of life-size human statues, made by self-taught artist Veijo Rönkkönen, who passed away recently. His relatives are also old, and are not willing to take care of the park. Parikkala municipality is now considering to buy the park from his estate.

I had my D700 body and Russian lenses with me.

1. MC Kaleinar-5N 100/2.8 at f/4

2. Kaleinar at f/4

3. MC Mir-24N 35/2 at f/8

4. MC Zenitar-N 16/2.8 fisheye at f/8

5. Kaleinar wide open

7. Zenitar at f/8

On my way to Parikkala, I passed an area, where a thunderstorm wreaked havoc a few days ago.

8. Kaleinar at f/5.6

The kaleinar is a lovely lens - sharp, great saturation, small.
