I have the xenon 25mm f1.5 too, it's a nice lens. How do you find the metabones adapter? I find that I need to use a very slim adapter with it because the focus ring is quite close to the mount.

It's my best looking 25mm c-mount on the PEN by personal opinion Very Happy

Build quality is also good with smooth aperture and focus ring.

@Edz
I bought the adapter on Ebay! It's very nice to the shining lenses and I agree, the focus ring is a little close to the adapter Wink

I hope you don't mind me posting some of my photos Nordentro.

Here's one I took (probably @ f1.5) on my G1 back in May:

I do notice some lack of contrast though (= lacking saturation also)...is the glass all clean inside?

A little of the usual dust, but looks good to me otherwise Wink

Lack of contrast isn't really a big challenge in the digital world Wink
Curves adjustment makes things better very fast...

Would this lense fit the Sony NEX cameras?

PostPosted: Sat Jan 15, 2011 2:54 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

yes, if you have a proper adapter.

Does it cover the whole APS sensor?

Mine doesn't, unfortunately. But mine isn't a C mount version - it must have had some other mount that was taken off before it came into my possession. But seeing the vignetting when used on the m4/3 cameras the C mount version won't cover APS-C either.

Both types won't cover the sensor completely, there is corner vignetting.

If it's only the corners, I wouldn't mind. But I had c-mount lenses here that covered only the central 50% of the image. Those are pretty useless on APS.

It might say, " That so good lens " But only I can say, that so beautiful woman. Congratulations if it belongs to your life. And if it is like that, do not bother. They are only things of a solitary Sniper.
