While browsing through some old photography magazines I came across this article in Amateur Photographer.
It makes interesting reading.

Yes, thanks indeed.

The problem is that meanwhile Minolta XE-1 film cams are almost as expensive as an R3. Sad
I wanted to buy one recently.

Very very many (most?) of Leica R3 dont work any more. Is this similar with Minolta X E-1 too?

First one does not work properly and second one is too expensive.
