Hi there,

Just bought this off e-bay. Can anyone who owns one of these tell me if it's normal for them to stick out so far from the rear when focussed on infinity?

I am loath to try this lens out, since it seems a good candidate for hitting the mirror on my 5D.

Thanks in anticipation.

Just checked my copy ... it does extend as far as yours.

I don't have a Canon, so I can't answer about the mirror issue

Hits at least EOS 300 film. And stays up. I first thought batteries were dead, just then realized to turn focus closer .. Embarassed Smile

Definitiely not gonna try it on my 5D then. Time to get the extension tube on it I think.
