Oh yeah, one of a kind, 2 butterflies.
First time I thought it's something wrong with my eyes.
If I were you, I'd put the butterflies horizontally.

You don't recognize the tree they're sitting on?

A great shot indeed from a well known performing lens.
That tree should be an Acacia tree estimated from that bark.

Horizontal may look good, but as others have noted, they were on a tree, and that's they were posed. Thanks for the comments.

Yes, I know, it's been discussed too many times, here and on other forums " technicalities, purism, I wouldn't touch the pic with a ten inch pole because that's the way it was", etc, etc, etc.

I made the suggestion for the sake of our eyes and with an artistic point of view in mind.
And I said " if I were you ".
But I'm not.

@Klaus: Good eye. Wink

@Himself: I'm not a purist per se, but I just see two butterflies on a tree and it doesn't look wrong to me in any way. Smile

Don't worry, I wasn't arguing any point, as I've rotated pictures before, and as you hinted, and I've said a million times, "It's just a matter of opinion". Everyone sees things differently. Sometimes comments give me ideas for future things, so I always enjoy hearing others opinions.
