Interesting. Given the excellent price/quality ratio of the Voigtländer SL II line, I look forward to giving this lens a thorough test once it becomes available

Darn. Why dont they want to make any m42 lenses. Sad
Cosina makes m42 Zeiss lenses, why not any Voigtländer m42 ?

The v2 f1.2/35mm Nokton in M mount is also in this release.
I have the v1 lens. It's big but spectacular. I wonder if the new version is redesigned optically.

Images I have seen from the Heliar f1.8/75 in M mount have been good but not amazing.
The lens is softish until f2.8. We'll see how the reflex version stacks up.
The old LTM f2.5/75 is sharp even at wide open and is much smaller.

Looks interesting but I would prefer to see the f1.2/35mm Nokton with Nikon mount Very Happy .....

The production of ZS is being stopped along with ZK, as far as I know. The market is just too small.

The 35/1.2 is definitely redesigned. It's about 15mm shorter now and the MFD has been reduced from 0.75m to 0.5m.

Ah, interesting news ... and a comprehensible decision

"SL II Heliar Classic 1,8/75"

Sounds really interesting!
But then, it will surely be rather expensive and since I've got my Nikkor 1.8/85... Wink

I think it's great news every time Cosina-Voigtlander puts out new glass. I've loved every piece I've tried thus far and applaud their direction. I do notice price rising over the past few years, but I guess all photography equipment has taken a sharp rise as well. I hope they stay priced so that many people can still take a chance to experiment with good manual glass and I hope to see that 35/1.2 in reflex if possible!

K.

No problem, just use a hacksaw to remove the mirror on your D700, then build a deeply recessed M mount to F mount converter.

Evil or Very Mad
