Someone I can tell you where to find a 35/2.0 FD SSC test. Some experience with it?
I have understood that it is one of the best 35mm.

There are three versions of this lens. The original version with concave front element and chrome filter ring. The second version with S.S.C. coating and black filter ring. The third version with convex front element and S.S.C. coating.

Legend has the concave element lenses as being exceptionally sharp, especially with black and white film. Rare earth glass causes them to develop a yellow cast.

The convex element lens has no yellowing problem. I have this version and find it completely acceptable, though I hear it is bettered by the later, New FD version.

My Canon FD 35 mm 1:2 S.S.C. has worked well since I bought it in 1975. According to the history list above, mine is version two (concave front, black hood bayonet mount).

I own version 2 too.

The shots on the second page are all with this lens and Canon F-1
