Hi people,


Can I mount a tair 3s (4,5/300) on a Canon EOS 1000D?

I am a beginner photographer, got my EOS 1000D a couple of months ago, now I got a Zenit 12XPS with a Tair 3s 4,5/300 (KGB style) as a present.

Wanna use the lens, but dont feel like going through all the analogue film trouble yet.

I heard/read something about "M39-M42 adapter in an M42-EOS adapter", will this do the work? Where can I get it?


And one more stupid question, is it even possible to zoom in/out with that huge lens? or is it simply fixed at 300mm?

Welcome! Fixed lens and produce great sharp images, plenty of adapter available on Ebay.
