On the wide screen that is...this is an exercise I did on a boring rainy
afternoon:
Fuji F10
Canon G6/SEP conversion
Fuji F10/SEP conversion
Sony DSC-V1/SEP conversion
Contax 137MA/CZ Planar 1.7/50 lens, Ferrania 400, SEP conversion
If you have a comp you can crop off the bottom, top, or both, this might
be fun to do. Then again, maybe not, but consider this: why should Jussi
have all the fun with his little Chinon pano camera? |

I like the results! 1 & 2 especially work really well
One thing I'd like to work on is to blur the edge of the banner a bit, to look like it's a film gate. _________________ -Jussi

Hummm, blurring the edges would be nice, but maybe not an easy thing.
It is the one thing that makes a true pano-cam image very cool, and sets
these faux-panos, aside. |

ok Bill, I would like those 2 from G6&V1 at 1920 pixels wide
I am curious if they keep definition and volumes
at 1200 they are already show their limit on my screen

Poilu no problem with 1920 on the G6 shot, but the Sony shot is a crop
out of this pic:
What would you say, somewhere between 1-1.5MP? That will not look good
at 1920.
I'll post the G6 shot tonight when I get home. |

Thanks, Jussi, just don't look at the back of Tricia's shirt, the glare makes
it look like melted butter. , one of the reasons I went for the BW
conversion. Need to find the adapter tube for the G6 so I can use filters.
The Bessa isn't half bad at 1920, even scanned at 1200dpi:
missed cleaning some of the artifacts, an experiment |

I would like you post all your model shots at 1920, much more resting for my old eyes _________________ T* |

Thanks, Poilu, 'level of cheap newspaper' was a zenith I had little hope of
reaching, really makes my day. |
