Rolf, that last photo intrigues me... there's something Jugendstil about those roots.

Maybe I'm reading my own difficulties into this - I dream of making a shot of these types of roots - or branches for that matter - with a certain look. I haven't managed it yet (probably need a tilt and shift to really accomplish the look).

Rolf, every time I see your pictures from the Coolscan 5000, I wish I had
that scanner and you had a wart on your...never mind. Excellent shots and
beautiful colors, the detail you get from that scanner is amazing for 35mm!

Really like the dramatic angle in the 3rd shot, well done!
