Well actually, not really - we have discussed about PK mount compared to PB mount.

PB mount has a fewer register than M42/PK so you will not find PB to EOS adapter with still infinity focus.

Anyway I don't thnik such adapter has ever existed !

Only PB adapter I've ever seen, and have, is M42-PB.

When i opened this topic i was thninking about modifying an already existing adapter.

I took a look at may Rollei adapter and wondered if some other coul be modified ?

tonight, i found this with google

Do someone of you have a K->eos adapter ?
Of so, can you take a picture of it with dimensions ?

This is an awful job to damage a lens and convert... I not like at all , but I understand why people doing ... better than not use these lenses.

Why damaging a lens ?

if K adapter can be modified to use Bmount, it has to tested Smile
an adapter is just an adapter.

I'll never damage my old Prakticar even if they cost nothing

Seems I don't understood as well ... thanks for pointing that!

I adapt PK rear lens caps to fit PB so an adapter adaptation should be relatively straightforward.

I will study the case
I'll tell you if i succes Smile

Just for fun of using my old Prakticar

I modified a K-> eos adapter tonight

easy to mod but first prototype needs improvements Smile

it lacks infinity, adapter's thickness is certainly the problem.

i think my 135 will be usuable to portraits, some tests tomorrow

That'd be interesting, yeah, keep us posted. There's plenty of Prak B lenses out there for peanuts.

Including the 1.8/80 that Attila swears by.

Thickness in black paint is to remove.

Picture is not good, but here is he the Bmount of a lens IN the PK-eos adapter.

adapter on a 135mm pentacon

I discovered later that Bmount register (44.6) is close to eos register (44mm).

That is why i miss infinity.
I do not want to use a lens without infinity!

One day i may be try to grind (?!?) another PK adapter to get closer to Bmount register.
and only after that i'll do once again what i did on this one.

(hope i am clear in my explainations ?)

Great information, Nelson, thanks.

Please, if you should buy the adaptor, share with us your impressions of use and results.

Actually, I still own several praktica-b lenses, but I've a Nikon dslr. But in the future...

That ----- is not correct, Bmount register is 44.4mm, and its inner diameter of the mount is 38.5mm.
