Hi!

Perhaps you know that I store my lenses in a wooden cabinet of about 90x60x50 cm?.
In order to keep humidity low I have a chemical dehumidifier inside.
Yesterday it was all used, so I had to remove it.

Now, what I do not understand is, that with the dehumidifier I have about 55% r.h. inside the cabinet, and without it, I also have about 55%. Question

What is going on there? Does anybody have an idea?

This dehumidifier should be enough for a room of 10m? - that's what the package says!

Hi Carsten!

Could that be that there is still enough air circulation from the outside to renew "wet air" anyway?
Or maybe those deshumifiers are more efficient when the air has more humidity.

I have never used those, so what I said might well be total non-sense, sorry if that's the case.
