The Spiratone 400/6.3 is too short - and I am too shaky - for a good shots. The red-shouldered hawks are sitting eggs right now.

It's frustrating isn't it trying for these shots....Do they come down closer at any time?

Need a tent to hide your self with lens together and wait for hours or days... wildlife photography one of the hardest part of photography and one of the most expensive too. I did give up long time ago.

The hawks do not mind me at all. That aerie is just too high for the 400 to reach ... Crying or Very sad

I just verified we have at least one nestling hatched. I got a shot of it being fed some prey by one of the parents - I hope. Lens was stopped down to f16. If the photo is sharp, perhaps I can get a good, tight crop ... Surprised
