The 50 1.7 ML is very good too; I would say sharper than the 50 1.4 but again, the one I use most is the 50 1.4

The 2.8/135mm ML and DS-M are average lenses. Both Lenses in ML and the 135mm DS-M are not as good as the rest of the range from 24 to 200mm.
The lenses i can recommend from ML and DS-M, are the 24mm, the 35mm, the 1.4/50, the 4/200mm in both lines.
