There are plenty of good 135mm's out there as it is an easy focal length to make, and some are still cheap. Or you could try an unknown one, it just might be a hidden gem.

Some good looking BIN items there going for peanuts at the moment, but with lots of days to go. Querying fro "135mm m42" will show you quite some good lenses.

I have a Mamiya SX 135mm 2.8 (M42) I don't use much, where I already dremeled the protruding base so it can mount on modern DSLRs. For 40 euros it's yours. Smile

There's probably better lenses about than the Yashica YUS / DSB to be fair, although that one was pretty cheap.
