Hello:
This evening I have taken this photo with a current magnifying glass of 4 dipotries, that is equivalent to a lens of 250 mm.
Clearly there is no diaphragm and the photo is taken to full opening.
The capture has been taken without tripod and bearing the magnifying glass in the bellows with the hand. It is possible that it has brought in light between the magnifying glass and the bellows, diminishing the contrast.
I wait for the results of your experiments.

I agree, that looks like an excellent magnifying glass ! _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
