Hi grapher

870 USD?

I think you need to put this on ebay -- I think it's too expensive for this platform..

please, put it on ebay and also make your pictures smaller a bit ..

Thank you for understanding ...

trifox,

A fantastic lens, but 870? That's a lot of money.

Klaus

3fox - sorry for big pictures Smile this size better? - ebay - well dont have ebay account, so i first try this forum, where are ppl who know what they buy Smile

2 Klaus - true Smile not cheap lens, but exceptional quality imo, on ebay it goes 1k+ in this version and condition.

A very good lens and one in my future purchases list , but 870 is quite a lot .. this lens in ebay sells for about 600USD

The fact that notoriously overpricing sellers like gokevincameras, photo-arsenal, sk-photo and others are asking >1 000 USD for this lens does not mean it is the going rate for the 75/1.5 Biotar, no matter what version and mount it is.

If you do an advanced search on eBay for completed items (something that is possible if you have an eBay account) you will notice that actual sales ie. items that have found a buyer have ended at about 400-600 USD.

You can ask how much you want but I recommend you stay open for offers: actual sales ie. buyers determine the aftermarket value, not sellers who have unrealistic expectations of profit/income.

Vilhelm that's a good point you've made ..

I would also say ...

Lower price volume is more preferable on this platform - MFLENSES.COM ..

E-BAY -- is better for commercial purposes Smile

We are expecting 'familiar' pricing rather higher prices comparable to ebay or even higher..

hi grapher -

Unfortunately everyone here expects a deal. Your price is not out of line. Ebay indeed is probably the best place to maximize the sale. You are correct, nice T-coated versions of this sell for $800+ on a regular basis there.

Best of luck with the sale,
-Ed

+1
Members here (myself included) are master bargain finders. Although I have to admit that these pics show the nicest M42 skinny Biotar I think I have ever seen.
A collector will easily pay your price when you find him/her.
Best of luck.
