Today I found the best macro lens to my Olympus E-1. Until this lens the red flower shoot was an ass of pain, now works wonderful.

Olympus OM 50mm f3.5 ! This is surprised me really, this lens was the winner from next lenses.

Nikon Nikkor 55mm f3.8 Non-AI Macro 1:1
Nikon Nikkor 105mm f2.8 AIS Macro 1:2
Kiron 105mm f2.8 Macro 1:1
Tamron SP 90mm f2.8 Macro 1:2
Vivitar Series 1 90mm f2.5 Macro 1:2

I still wait Nikon Micro Nikkor 200mm f4 lens, I am curious this Oly lens able to keep his position or not.

I will post some full size shoot soon..

Attila, your shots are a demonstration of what can be done with a camera when well used!. As far as I know your E-1 is a 5 Mpix camera, isn't it?.
Wonderful shots!
Best regards,
Jes.

Thanks Jesito! Megapixel war is not impact me Smile I bought this camera when I could bought 8 or 10MP cameras for same price. If a lens is extraordinary than this one, doesn't matter the megapixel above 4MP if lens is crap also Smile

Though not as well made as the E1, I got my e300 for $205USD, body with 3 batteries, charger, software, all paperwork.

Here price around 300-400 usd for E300 you made a good deal! I used E-500 for half an hour and I put back to the shop ,because black LCD was unusable crap. This is not seeing in your pictures, so I guess E-300 is a great camera judge on your pictures Smile

Attila, I wish I had the viewfinder out of my Nikon EM! I love the split
prism it has! Yeah, I wear glasses, but my corrected vision scores
20/15!

I shot with the OM2 for more than 20 years and I must sort out my old Oly lenses - I think one was that 50 macro. I also had the 100, which was one of the best they made. Now collecting dust in one of my closets....

loved my OM2
