Dug out and old friend and hooked it onto my Lumix GH1 tonite, here some results for your -hopefully- viewing pleasure!

Unique results. Beautiful colours, lovely "starry" effect. The shallow DOF is quite different from the macro lens DOF.

Klaus, you've got a f/0.75 lens in your collection? Amazing!
Fantastic, almost surreal results.
Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thanks Guys! I like that lens for the shallow DOF and extra creamy bokeh. It is an old lens from
an early Xray machine, simply adapted to fit my camera - no iris.

Creamy and dreamy, very nice Klaus. The dried rose is so beautiful.

Weinheim is not too far away from where I live, Klaus.
I guess I need to take a day off and visit you. Wink

It has to be Stan, since the speed is <1.0, the rest of the light (1.0 - 0.75 = 0.25 = 25%) is generated internally
by a micro zero point module which amplifies the needed photons per pixel so as to give well exposed shots
even at candlelight. Quite a unique piece of gear, which has cost me many years to develop.

I'm currently working on my next conversions, a Canon 0.75/65mm

a Canon 1.3/75mm (with iris, and what a beauty)

a Leitz 0.75/65mm

several Kowa 0.8/55mm

as well as the star of the whole show, the Super Farron 0.87/76mm (iris!)

the latter developed by famous lens designer Dr A W Tronnier (rings that a bell?
YESSS - the Zeiss ULTRON designer!)

... but these micro zero point modules are so darn hard to come by Wink Wink

And before someone asks (I dropped that hint already above), these lenses are not radioactive,
although they came from older Xray machines.

Well, I forgot to answer another question:
Yes, if someone wants such a high speed thingy, I can make one...PM me in that case.

Love this series, Klaus! I especially like the last gems shot, looks like
something from a 70's sci-fi movie!

Thanks pal, yes indeed, highlights produce wonderful dreamy effects, this is why I chose some from my cut stone collection! The regularity of the cut transforms nicely into symmetrical OOF highlights.

Klaus. have you checked if your Canon XI's reach infinity on your GH1?
my XI 1/65 does and am curious about the others.

Not yet checked on all lenses I have Maarten. The 50mm does not, but it is helicoid mounted currently.
