These shots were made using the Contax 137MA/CZ Planar 1.7/50 with
Arista Premium 400 pushed to 1600. Developer was HC-110 F-G (1+100)
@20C for 50 minutes:

Interesting exercise and of course, much room for improvement.

I like the 2nd one...it's strange but appealing.

Thanks, Mo-Fo and Jussi!

Jussi, the closest I've been to Venice is Venice Beach, CA. Laughing

Not too happy with the outdoor pics, and am getting some serious water
spots on the negs. This is after washing after fix for 10 minutes, then using
Edwal LFN drops in distilled water for the final wash. I haven't ordered a
Clearing Agent yet, guess that would solve the problem, hope so.
Also seem to be buckling the film when spooling and getting this type of artifact,
dimples in the film:

This is from the same 36exp Arista Premium roll. Going to stick with 24
exposure rolls from now on.

#2
#4
#3
#1

In that order for me. I think #2 is the clear winner.

Yeah, those look like buckle marks to me too.

About your wash -- what is your total wash time?

I don't use anything besides water, but I wash after fixing for about 30 minutes, and this is good enough where I don't get spots on my negs.

Michael, these buckling marks were towards the end of the roll (the
firstmost spooled onto the reel. I don't see this much with 24exp rolls,
hummm. Yeah, only washed for 10 minutes, need to lengthen the
time on that.

Thanks for your comments.
