This is a well made preset T-mount (?) lens by Sankyo Kohki Komura of Japan. The focus is a little bit loose (just a bit, a Takumar is much better in this regard) but everything works smooth.

In the series below I used any f/stop between wide-open and f/8. Enjoy!

Thanks Klaus! I really had 100 euros of fun for 10% of that amount. (Just to not use that dreaded "C" word Wink)

You have a very nice copy, excellent collectors condition. Mine is working, but much less nice.

It works superbly of course. These are great lenses.

And you did a seagull too !

The shots are so squeaky clean did you cheat and transfer the lens from the spottie to a digital camera?

Cheating? Check the EXIF of the photos and see that I did not use the Spotmatic at all. In fact the results could have been better on a film camera Wink

...but the lens was on a spottie, so I would assume most people (including me), would think that's the camera you used.

Except for the 135mm f/1.8 Eyemik, the only lens I ever had to send back to the seller because it was too darn soft wide open. But all moderate speed 135mm's are quite good indeed.

great series as always, but all lenses look great in your hands, so I don't know how actually useful to choose Wink
