That's an impressive lens; looking forward to learn whether it is as good as the 85mm Samyang...

BTW, I presume in works on DX only and does not cover a full-frame?

Apparently it will work on FF if you shave the hood. If you don't have a Dremel but have the $ there's a company that will do it for you. You can do the same thing with a Nikon 10.5mm - another DX lens.

I mounted it on Pentax ME Super and saw the hood in the viewfinder Smile

It's a good lens, very well built, sharp across the frame and not too expensive.

Samyang is starting to rock the whole market!

When they manage to prduce a decent 1.4/35, other brands will need to think!

here are some test photos... all at f8, some shadow/highligts corrected and a pinch of sharpness... you can see how it manages the sun and colours at the same time.... it's a bit soft at 3.5 but who cares Smile
