Hi everybody;

having my new biotar 75 and i guess which hood i could put on ?

You can use Nikon HS-8 or older hood with 105/2.5 or 135/3.5 (no model
number). These are very convenient hoods for any 85 mm to 135 mm
lenses. For your Biotar 1.5/75 you need a step down ring of 58->52.

You can find them in junk box quite often, they are also metal ones.

If you have the "fat" aluminum version, any 58mm hood really, whatever works for you. Some people like them compact, some people like them reversible (like some "flower" types, folding rubber types), etc. Deeper ones are better theoretically, as long as they don't vignette, but this depends more on the conditions and subject.

If you have a crop sensor and you are looking for a deep hood, any 58mm hood for "tele" lenses would be fine with no vignetting.

I use an old Spiratone "zebra" styled telescoping hood, because it looks cool.
