Hi,

Here few test images too.

ive wondered about this lens because i have only seen it sold for a fair amount of money. the colors really please my eye, and seems to have decent resolution as well. i am sure you are enjoying it! i look forward to more examples. btw, nice dog, is it yours? i put up a nice picture of mine in my recent thread 'tamron 70-150mm' that you might enjoy.

Hi Tony,

thank you. Yes I felt that the price is very good and not a reason to think too long about it.

Yes, it is our family dog. She is a Bernese cattle dog. I viewed your images. You own a white sheep dog when I remember correct. A very nice dog and not very common with this color

It's a Zeiss Distagon in disguise. Early version. More info at http://captjack.exaktaphile.com/rollei/Rolleilenses.htm and http://www.fuwen.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=38&Itemid=88 and finally http://www.taunusreiter.de/Cameras/Rollei_QBM_Zeiss_dt.html

I concur with Patrick! It's a joy to see your beautiful presentations of the lens itself, as well as elegant and beautiful images from the lenses that you own.

It's very good too. Made in Japan? If it is, mamiya lens. (if it's an AR lens, almost sure it's a mamiya ones).

See taunusreiter site.

Rino.

That lens looks a minty - good catch!

Your model looks a little ruff! Laughing She poses well though.

I like the results from this very much. The saturation is impressive.

So is this lens the same as the Carl Zeiss Distagon 2.8/35? I read on Capt Jack's site and Taunusreiter it is, and apart from the labelling, the barrel looks the same.
