Yes,f1.4. I bought this lens today, till this time I know two copy of them I found one on Ebay with a Pentacon camera and this lens. Is anybody know any resource from Internet about this lens. I looking for more information than dry parameters. Is anybody ever seen it ?Please don't mix with 50mm f1.8.

This was the standard lens for the Pentacon Super:

It's meant to be very very good - possibly even better than the Pancolar 1.8/50 although I can't verify that.

Thank you mate! Hopefully I will able to compare them, hard to imagine better lens than 1.8 Pancolar.

You're probably one of the few guys on the planet in a position to compare them. Cool

Is there anything you can't find...? Laughing

Wow, nice lens, Attila!

Kadlubek estimates about € 176,- for a mint copy.

Mine is not mint at all and I paid 100 EUR, but this is the first one what I saw.

Congratulations for your new lens.

Is it a "yellow" lens as Pancolar 1.8/50?

I saw "yellow" Takumar 1.4 I never seen "yellow" Pancolar 1.8/50.
1.4/55 Pancolar is "yellow" lens, yes.

Kadlubek's prices are estimations only. The market controls the price (supply and demand!). Some of the lenses are cheaper some much more expensive than he estimates.

But an estimation of € 176,- shows that this is a rather rare lens which you won't get for little money.
