This is the cheaper lens option for the Kodak/Nagel Duo 620 folder but turns out to be a very good performer for a simple uncoated triplet. I remounted it for use on my Century Graphic 23.
All developed in Kodak DK50 at stock dilution:
Fuji CDU II E6 duplicating film, not bad for slide film in BW chems, a bit grainy. rated at ISO 12 and developed for 20 mins:
The exact same shot with 1968 expired Kodak Panatomic-X rated at IO 12 and developed for 20 mins, to my eyes, much nicer tonality and a lot less grain:
1968 Pan-X again, rated at ISO 12, developed for 25 mins (compensating for well used developer):
1988 expired ORWO NP22, rated at ISO 80, developed for 9 mins:

Cheers. I just wanted to get across to people that you don't need the most hyped and expensive lenses to get nice results with BW film. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

Cheers, it's the character that makes me like them. I have much more modern multicoated lenses for 6x9 but often prefer to use the older uncoated ones. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
