Crapy film and entry level film camera so don't expect much...

I couldn't make better pictures with fine lenses + SLR camera with this film.

My scanner is fine, no problem. Fuji Superia 200 produce crap result. One of the worst film what I used.

***One of the worst film what I used.***

Horses for courses..............it's a great general purpose film, so what film can improve this ordinary shot of a house?

Fuji superior 200, Canon 28mm

I got better result virtually with any film even cheap no name films, than superia 200.

I can't blame you using cheap film to test a camera, but it is almost a crime
to take a picture of your wife with such film. Laughing I've yet to try the plasticky
Exakta P&S (maybe POS, HA!) and will probably use Memories 200 film.

But you couldn't win an argument against superior 200asa, just because if I and every member (who liked superia) kept posting shots........you are going to like a photo eventually and then have to admit that the photographer can use superia 200 asa and get better results than you.

All superia 200asa with different lenses:-

Vivitar 28mm:-

pentax 35mm f3.5 m42

testing out my SP Tamron 35-80mm

Konica 40mm

My first attempt at low light and night shots in colour, canon 28mm

Have I failed to convince you that at least Superia 200 has something going for it, as a general purpose film?

No extra sharpening I did use same setting as usual on my other pictures.

I did try 2x I got always shitty result, so I never try more. Samples sent by Excalibur shows good value. Perhaps my rolls wasn't good stored in hot environment before I took it. Perhaps labs wasn't good any of them possible.

I will try to avoid from this film in future and use those what I like better and produce better result for me.

You are right. I tried to make a fast tuning but without good results. There is no information [ refer to the Jesito's boat photo] to work with.

I like the two first pictures, due to th link with the sitting people Very Happy

now about the Superia 200, i like this film and manage to have decent results, most of pictures i posted here are done with this film. i mean its not a crap film, at least for me. ok there are betters but for the price and results its a very good compromise.

I will, but for now i've took the easiest film in order to try developing in C41 and have regular results, which is the case. I have 3 rolls left, and 3 of Kodak Supra 400 in 12poses

i plan to try Agfa Vista next , saw a very good offer on ebay, i think that i posted the link.

Well my fuji 200 asa was out of date and I bought 100 rolls for £32, and nowadays cant resist picking up Kodak gold etc at boot sales for 10p each.
