I have a rule, which may be irrational and which may cost me a bargain on the odd occasion, but I routinely ignore all listings that contain the terms 'WOW', and 'L@@K'.

My favourite example of the stupid use of the word 'RARE' is a listing that appeared last year on eBay for a Yashica FX-3, identifying it as one of 'the very rare black' bodies. The FX-3 was only ever made in black.

Well, some sellers used words like "rare, limited numbers, etc." in order to justify their high selling price.
