Here's a couple of scans of the views last week. Sorry about the bits
of dirt on the scanner glass.

Final Log
Just beyond this log is a 4000 foot drop! The Pilium Moss catches
organic matter from the updrafts to help it grow. The 150/2.8 is
the sharpest lens I've ever owned; the original transparency has
to be handled with care, or you can get cut up pretty badly.
It's also a fast lens for its focal length at f:2.8.

Thank you Attila. I have to admit that I DO really like the
second image too. I think that it actually does give the feeling
that I'm on the edge of a precipice.
Provia is a beautiful film and the details scan pretty well. I might
consider cropping out the landslide on the distant hillside, as it
sort of "catches my eye".
The scan does not show just how SHARP the moss and the patterns
in the log really are on the transparency.
Funny how sometimes there is an internal feeling that you have a
"good shot", even when others might not have the same opinion.
I am considering a drum scan, just to preserve the sharpness of
the moss, and I like the feeling this image gives me.
The lens seems equivalent in sharpness and rendition to the
Voigtlander APO 90/3.5 that I got to use for a while. _________________

Thank you Dave and Attila!
The Pentax 150 lens can be had for as little as $60 if you are patient.
It seems that it hasn't yet fallen into the DSLR adapted lens realm. _________________
