I think that this is the seven element model (f-16) and here are a couple of pix from this morning.
My son and my grandchildren - early morning bad bed hair - haha.
Still looking for the hairbrush Smile

Great lens and a sublime shot! Very successful style mimetism, makes me think of Camera Work collection. Did you use this tool?

Thank you Alex.

Kind regards

Thank you for the confirmation, Thomas! I think to give it a try after looking at your shot.

With the new ones you show the lens in its best form.

This site will provide the details you will need to discriminate between the 7 element version and the later 5 element version (still a nice lens but not in the same class).

Thanks Steve.
Definitely a seven element design then - I appreciate the clarification.
A good lens and easy to use.
Cheers

I was commissioned by the village to build an honour board for our community to be displayed in local hall.
I finished it some time ago and it is now back from the signwriters.
I used the Konica today to capture some images of it.
Here it is

Your woodwork craftsmanship is as superb as your photography! That piece looks great!
I'm sure the village will be thrilled.

The celebrated 7 in 7 Konica is a wonderful 28. I like mine as well. So much so, I had the chance to pick up another last week for under $10 due to some fungus under the edges of the front element. A project for idle evenings. Now if I can only figure out how to take this one apart! Wink

Thank you for the kind words.
I was pleased with the project and more so after it was sign-written.
I documented the making of the Honour Board here:

The lens is a little wonder and gives very sharp results.
Happy snaps
