I've been wanting to take some proper shots with this lens for some time now. I posted some desk-top shots but they dont do this lens justice.
Here are some fairly decent samples from the yard.

This lens is fairly sharp and IMO holds it's own with the Tak. _________________ Nikons : F4-EM-FG-FE2-FA-EL-FTN-N2020-N70-F Nikkorex

Yes, the lens appears to be fairly sharp on my crop camera, I havent noticed much CA either, a bit, but nothing serious.
I wonder how it would perorm on a FF camera.
I love this lens on my ST801 ! It's really quite a stunner on my film cameras. _________________ Nikons : F4-EM-FG-FE2-FA-EL-FTN-N2020-N70-F Nikkorex

Yes, sometimes they sell high. I also noticed that certain EBC glass can be hard to find.
This is my second copy of the 135mm. My first one took a hard fall and an element came loose. I found this copy for 40.00 USD plus shipping.
Quite a good deal considering I paid about 100.00 USD for my first copy. _________________ Nikons : F4-EM-FG-FE2-FA-EL-FTN-N2020-N70-F Nikkorex

Nice ones! I like the EBC 55/1.8, is the whole lens range the same quality? _________________ Markku
