Before asking I did a search through the forum and found other Rikenon lenses but not this one. Does anyone have it or used one? Any thoughts on quality?

Thanks!

Supposed to be Tomioka glass. Flickr friend just put up a sample shot yesterday.

I had one and it was not good enough to keep it. Quite soft wide open, not nice at high contrast (coma (asymmetry fault)). Quite average on EOS 5D

I have one too. It's a good copy. Something soft to 2,8. Low contrast.

It's average lens. But like average lens, you can use it at F/5,6, 8 and 11, and it will be very good.

Use it with lens shade.
