hi,kennym here,
ive just been given an auto mamiya sekor 135mm f2.8 m42 mount lens in super condition,except for one thing,the apeture ring turns freely,no click stops,how hard/easy is this to fix,anyone had this problem,

Welcome! I think there is a missing part... if this is true, not easy to fix without a spare lens.

I fixed a lens that did this too...the ball bearing was off its spring but still inside the lens.

If you take it apart, you might find it in there Smile

A simple and ready source for the tiny ball bearing if missing is an old empty from ink ball point pen Wink

Ball pen points are usually smaller than the 1mm (occasionally 1.5mm)size that goes into aperture ring detents, though. Micro-tools.com does sell the little balls though.
