Look for the original sizes
I couldn't find too much center difference between f:2.8, 4 and 5.6 so I find its performance great as you can expect from a Zeiss I don't know what will my Nikkor 1.8/85 perform against it but I'm really curious. Anyway the best part of Carl Zeiss Sonnar 2.8/85 is it's dimensions which is pretty compact and light, it looks like a 50mm lens, Nikkor 1.8/85 is pretty huge when compared with Zeiss.
Canon EOS 5D @M, ISO50, 1/200
Carl Zeiss Sonnar 2.8/85 @f:2.8
Sunpak 422D, 36GN @1/16, bounced with vivitar bouncer card
100% crop @f:2.8

ebay has lot's of them and I buy for just 17usd, inc. shipment
My main collection is based on Rollei-QB and have 6 decent glasses.
I was selling mine but yesterday I postponed my USA trip to a further date and decide to keep this and Tele-Tessar 4/200. This one can be found at ebay for nearly 200USD sometimes . The last one that I was watching sold for 202USD+sipping _________________ My name is "Yalcin", and exactly "Yalçın" and here you can find my MF samples:

Hi Siswono,
present Rollei-QB adapter's lens lock mechanism isn't well designed so that part come into the body too much and having no room left for a chip so no chance with the current designs. Me and my friend has started to a project in which the adapter allows to add AFC chip onto it but as I'm just a computer engineer and he's the mechanical engineer, I'm waiting for him and it has been more than a month but no progress on his side so there is nohing but to wait him _________________ My name is "Yalcin", and exactly "Yalçın" and here you can find my MF samples:
