I would like to post links to some of my favourite photos galleries and sites. There are many more but these few stand out and are worth a look if you have time over the holiday.

Some great Street shots (People) and a good read, his comments are very good.

IMO this guy is a true master of the traditional idea of Street photography. It will please some that he is a Leica user but any camera you can handle quickly will do the job.

I must admit I don’t have much time for many peoples idea of pin hole photography but this guy is in a different league. His pinhole and toy camera images are fantastic. He also shoots a Canon 5D so something for everybody.
Don’t miss this guys Flickr stream.

Perhaps one of the best sites for posted images. You can get fed up with the same sort of comments but never get bored of the variety of quality photos posted

There are many exceptional photographers posting to PhotoSig this is just one of many I like.

Some lovely shots here

Two photography information sites everybody should follow.

IMO the very best photo site on the net. This is the place to learn and try and understand everything. We may never have or even want 60 Megapixel digital back but its still good to read about them and understand what its all about.

Everything about flash photography, IMO the best and only lighting site

About photosig, its one of the reason of mine jumped into photography (although was browsing photo.net from a long time)...

I like PhotoSig but it has its problems. It is very conventional and many of the images can be very stereotype, though some fantastic ones are still posted there (Not as many as used to be). IMO there is a danger that some people could end up gearing their photo output to fit into the accepted conventions of the average good comment. This is rather easy to do, I have done it and it stopped me from posting there, though I could have easily gone the other way and thought
‘Great I will keep posting images like that and get thousands of points’ I’m sure some do fall into that trap and I don’t believe it does their photography any favours. How much progress can you make by taking pretty animal pictures?
