This was using the Yashica ML 2.8/28 lens and Memories 200 film. Most on
this roll were dumpers. Trying to take pics in deep woods at 1/5sec, F11-F16
was not a good idea without tripod! Laughing

Riverwalk Marina, Decatura Alabama, yeah that's my shadow:

Very good detail (this does not surprise me from the Yashica ML 2Cool and excellent colours, did you have trouble balancing when scanning or are these the unedited colours of this film?

Orio, all I did was hit auto color correction in PS. This film is actually the
old Konica Centuria 200. DNP bought the old film and paper plants from
Konica and are selling the film as "Memories". Color temperature-wise it
is somewhere between Fuji and Kodak.

Very nice result, especially I like the color restoration from the film. Did you use the Epson software for it or other?

I tried using Epson with switch off everything except unsharp mask and ICE (if needed), and autolevels, curves in PS or GIMP. The result was a bit better color restoration.

Your method is perfect anyway, I'm just curious...Smile

Hi Csaba369, for the CVS scans, I don't bother opening these in Bibble
but go directly to Photoshop Elements 4.0. First I hit with auto curves
using the SmartCurve plugin, and I like the color there, that's it, sometimes
I will use the auto color correction as well just to see if there's
any difference, a lot of the time there isn't or so miniscule as to why bother.

For Epson scans, everything off including ICE but USM is set to low.

Then process files in Bibble (makes a TIFF) then PSE 4.0.

Thanks, guys, for your comments! Smile

Hexi, it's the Contax 137MA body and Yashica ML 2.8/28 lens. Nice
compact camera that I had to replace hinge pads, mirror foam and
lightseals, works great now.

Shocked ... but still #2 is really attracting, coposition is just perfect ...
very special also Nr.1. The eye is forced to search for the reflections in the water.
