Is there a way to open the plastic lens up in order to be able to clean the glass? there don't seem to be any screws or anything holding it together.

thanks for you help in advance

I only know the Pentacon AV 2.8/80mm.
Think, all the 3 optical lenses are glued in,
but wonder, how dust could penetrate into it???

I haven't got that particular lens, but every plastic lens I have is moulded and doesn't come apart.

I think i have this lens.
will take a look at it tonight Smile

I also have a triplet 100 2.8 which is plastic on the outside but the lenses are held in a metal ring which is quite easy to remove from the plastic barrel.

Unfortunately the lens i have is a Meyer 2.8 100mm mounted on a metal barrel - so i guess it is not the same as yours.
