A few pictures from my S3 iS, taken this past August at the
Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance.

To start with, I present the Delahaye. I say it with reverence:
The Delahaye. With capital letters.

*edit* This is a 1938 Delahaye 135MS, bodied by Figoni & Falaschi.
Owned by the Petersen Collection, as in Petersen Motorsports,
and Motor Trend Magazine.

Margie & Robert E. Peterson, Los Angeles, California.

Estimated value: $3.8 million US dollars

There's a Talbot-Lago to follow this, as well as many pics of
incredible details from other cars.

This car was likely the most-valuable entry of the entire show,
valued at more than $3 million dollars US.

I actually touched the chrome bumper on the front
of this beauty.

I had to wait for other self-important photographers to get out
of the way of my line of sight, but I'm glad I waited!

It is a joy to see sharp detailed shots with good graduation and careful composition.
Lovely photography and the car is nice as well.

From the Sublime to the British Austin!
Snapped today at the usual Saturday car show along the High St
I prefer your motor!

Sorry, no pics of the interior. Too many ropes & other crowd-control devices.

Rob, that Austin is lovely! Is it a predecessor to the well-known Austin-Healey?

I've always been fascinated with the cars which can open the windscreens
on their lower end.
