I bought this lens today. I think I like it, but my cat is not so sure:

Cheers, guys - is it my imagination or is the bokeh on the Zeiss 50mm f1.4 sometimes a "double" image? I will try and get some examples to show what I mean.

It's possible, yes.
Planar is not the best lens for bokeh esp. with the highlights.
I like it though, because of the transition.
The bokeh is not the best but the transition from IF to OOF has something magical.
In any case I try to avoid the highlights.
