I have not had much time here the last week or so.
Well not as much as I have had. My back is finally working OK so I am in a hurry to go have some fun when it is not raining.
Here are a few shots from a short hike near the house.
The trail takes you thru the forest and past a big pond to a seaside bluff.
The usual trees and dogs from me Rolling Eyes
This lens really saturates more than I expected Shocked
I had to crank down the sat. a bunch at times and other times I just left it.
Please comment and enjoy. Love the lens. Thanks Attila Very Happy

Just beautiful shots, Andy! What a bounty of scenery to shoot in! Like the
dog's sweater, too. Wink

I can't imagine you would be displeased with the lens, quite a performer!

Leave the saturation !

This is a great lens for blasting with color. I swear its not German, its Mexican.

Nice series Andy. I like the selective DOF in the last picture. I seem to notice that wide open, your Biotar has a similar bokeh to that of Helios-40(-2) around the corners... is that just my impression or you can confirm?

Nice series Andy. Seem an excellent area to carry the camera. Looks like your crew enjoyed themselves also.

Thanks you all for the Kind words.
This lens is going to become a favorite for me.
I think that one of my Helios 40 is now for sale Laughing

Orio is correct this lens has a very similar "radial" Bokeh when wide open.
Now knowing this I will need to take advantage of it.
Here is a failed shot that shows that effect more strikingly.
