Petri 55/1.7...Seymore's lens

Chris sent me a Petri 55/1.7 and I finally had a chance to use it:





Bokeh seems to be on the harsh side, but fairly sharp results! Both were
shot at f5.2

Attila, you're right, the second one's background/bokeh is pretty busy.

yes I agree it seems sharp but bokeh seems nothing to write home about.

Your cat is more and more a superstar!

Yes, in the second pic, it's quite painterly, in a Claude Monet way. You
can make out the paintbrush dobs on the canvas!

So, the second pic is a mixture between impressionism and realism? Wink

Petri lenses tend to be really sharp (just as mine) but not very well built (just as mine).

And the bokeh that my Petri (1.7/50) produces also is not that creamy... Wink
