The advantage of having to walk for at least one hour every day is that you have a good excuse to carry around your camera.
So yesterday I took with me the 5D and the Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 35-70 and took some snaps:

Nice photos. Looks like a pretty place to walk!

I wish I had time to walk for an hour even here in Houston.

A question: when you click on the "all sizes" button, which is the size that the image loads first?
(original is 1200x800)

Very nice Orio. It doesn't look too different from the Tam SP35-80 in terms of sharpness and barrel distortion (a little bit on the chimney). But the colours look a lot more realistic, to me at least.

I thought you'd moved house! Smile

This Vario-Sonnar 35-70 is a very nice and has Zeiss colour and 3D-ness.
Me and three more girls are waiting for more photos, Orio.

There's still restoration works to do, we have discovered a big crack in one of the outer walls. About 10 cms wide, you can see outdoors. This is requiring a big work Sad

Great to see your home Orio.
It's also great to hear you are taking that hour to yourself once a day Very Happy

Wow, that's really serious damage. Do you know what caused it?

I think it's the terrain. It is a clay terrain, and in the underground of my street, there is a subterranean torrent.

Quite a problem if you ask me, given the obsessive boss I have

Orio, if the underwater springs were hot, you have free heating in the winter!
Tough luck about summer, though. Wink

Some great shots with the Vario Sonnar!

@Koji, are those coconut shells they are wearing? Laughing

Is the damage covered by your insurance Orio? The whole of London is built on clay that shrinks when it becomes very dry, and in the few hot summers we had (1976, 1988,1989, 1992) many houses were damaged. I've handled well over 100 insurance claims for this kind of damage, including designing the repair work and new foundations to stop it happening again. If I can help in any way, please ask.
